How DailyChamp works
From a plan
to a finished day.
DailyChamp is a daily planner and task tracker for personal work and shared projects. Keep responsibilities on the board, choose today's tasks, track the time, and review what you finished.
A day with DailyChamp
-
Plan
Today is where every morning starts. Type a task with a time in it, like Call the printer 20m, and it lands with an estimate. Not sure where to start? Press p and tell the coach what you want done. It shapes a list small enough to finish, and turns it into tasks.

-
Pull
Areas hold everything you are responsible for: the launch, the clients, health, home. w pulls a task into your worklog, and Shift L walks it across to do, in progress, done. The default limit is seven tasks in progress; you can adjust it in Settings.

-
Work
s starts the clock. Time counts against the estimate, so you learn how long things really take. Whatever is running sits in the bar at the top of every page, on your phone too.

-
Proof
Finish the list and the calendar marks the day a win. Stats keeps the streak, the hours, and which area your time really went to.

Also in the box
- Cards
- Anything bigger than a day: a launch, a race, a reading list. Give it a window and its steps land on the right days.
- Repeats
- Routines come back on their own schedule: every day, Mondays and Thursdays, the first of the month.
- Steps and threads
- A checklist and a comment thread on every task, so the details stay with the work.
- Sharing and sign-off
- Share a task by email or link. When they say it is done, it comes back to you for a sign-off, not straight to the done pile.
- Keyboard first
- j k move, x ticks off, / searches everything, ? shows every key.
- Phone and dark mode
- Installs as an app from the browser. Dark mode for the late ones.
How the pieces fit together
- Areas → cards → tasks
- An area is a responsibility, such as work or home. A card groups a larger project. Tasks are the individual things to do, with optional checklist steps.
- Board → daily worklog
- The board holds the bigger picture. Pull a task into your personal worklog when you are ready to work on it, then move it through to do, in progress and done.
- Estimates → tracked time
- Give a task an estimate before starting its timer. Your worklog and stats help you compare the plan with the time you spent.
